Pokes in the Pros: Handful of Cowboys Ink Post-Draft Deals
A look at Cowboys who will get their shots in NFL camps.
The NFL Draft concluded Saturday.
Although Oklahoma State didn’t have a player drafted, there were some Cowboys who signed post-draft deals.
Here’s a recap that we’ll add to if a few more announcements trickle out on Sunday.
Wes Pahl — Cleveland Browns
Fortunately for the Cowboys, they had a really good punter in 2025. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they had to use him quite a bit.
Pahl inked a deal with the Cleveland Browns and new head coach/former OSU OC Todd Monken.
Pahl’s 46.5-yard average was second in the Big 12 in 2025, while his 23 punts of 50 or more yards led the conference by six. He also forced a Big 12-best 26 fair catches.
Parker Robertson — Denver Broncos
There couldn’t have been many better stories in college football this past season than that of Parker Robertson.
Starting his career as an undersized walk-on, Robertson closed his career by leading the Cowboys in tackles with 77 this past season. He finished second on the team in tackles for loss with 8.5 and tied for the team lead with a pair of interceptions.
Robertson had a great Pro Day, running a 4.47 40-yard dash while repping 225 pounds 17 times on bench.
The Broncos took safety Miles Scott (Illinois) in the seventh round, as well.
Terrill Davis — Baltimore Ravens
There must be something about an OSU receiver rocking No. 2 that leads to them getting picked up by the Ravens, with Davis following in Tylan Wallace’s footsteps.
For myriad reasons, the OSU passing game was anemic in 2025, but Davis finished second among Cowboys with 373 receiving yards on 29 catches.
This past season was Davis’ first as a Cowboy after he was a Division-II All-American at UCO in 2025.
The Ravens took a pair of receivers in the draft, taking Ja’Kobi White (USC) in the third round and Elijah Sarratt (Indiana) in the fourth.
Kenneth Harris — New England Patriots
Kenneth Harris battled through not getting to play a lot in his first few seasons after transferring from Arkansas State to becoming an impact player on defense this past season for the Cowboys.
He finished the year with 33 tackles, which ranked sixth on the team. He had two tackles for loss, a sack and a team-best six pass breakups.
Harris ran a 4.48 at OSU’s Pro Day and had 22 bench reps.
The Pats took one defensive back in the draft — fifth-round pick Karon Prunty (Wake Forest).
Old Friends
A pair of former Cowboys did get drafted this weekend.
Wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling transferred to Ole Miss this past season. The San Francisco 49ers took Stribling with the first pick of the second round.
Kendal Daniels crossed Bedlam battle lines going from OSU to OU. He was taken in the fourth round by the Atlanta Falcons.
