Uniforms
Ranking the football uniforms: No. 20
I like the gray OSU wears but this was too much.
Uniform No. 20:Â Black-Gray-Gray
Worn:Â Home against West Virginia
Result:Â Win, 55-34
I know I’m not allowed to like the gray, but I kind of like the gray. The problem is when you try to use it monochromatically. Basically if you’re using anything besides all black or all white monochromatically, I’m out.
It’s great as an accent though, for a helmet or the pants, but not as both the jersey and pants. The only way this could have been worse is if they would have gone gray helmets too. Actually what would have been really bad is to go with the old gray Lego helmets. That combo would have easily taken my last place spot.
Also, I wish the gray was a shade or two lighter. Oregon pretty much did it perfectly (of course) but we’re talking semantics. Love the gray, do not even close to love the all gray.
