Recruiting Roundup: A Look at Some of the High School Prospects Who Have Recently Announced OSU Offers

After months of chaos, it appears the runaway train that is the transfer portal has started to slow down for the time being, but recruiting never stops.

Oklahoma State has put out a bevy of offers to high school prospects as of late. The Cowboys are off to a strong start in the 2026 cycle, as their 11-man class ranks 23rd nationally and fourth in the Big 12, per 247Sports. Here are quick looks at some of the 2026 and 2027 prospects OSU has its eyes on.

Class of 2026

Bralan Womack, DB: The Cowboys threw their hat in the ring for five-star safety Bralan Womack, the No. 12 player in 247Sports’ ranking for the 2026 class. He announced the offer after visiting with OSU assistant Kevie Thompson. Out of Mississippi, Womack is a 6-foot, 196-pound prospect who plays defense and receiver at Hartfield Academy. He also has offers to the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas and others.


Preston Ashley, DB: Another highly touted defensive back from Mississippi, Ashley is listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds. He’s the No. 211 player in the 2026 247Sports Composite ranking. Along with his offer to OSU, he has also reported offers to Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Colorado, Arkansas, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and others.


Tyreek King, WR: A 5-11, 168-pound receiver who is committed to Tennessee, King is the No. 28 player in the 2026 class, according to Rivals. According to MaxPreps, King caught 49 passes for 1,062 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior. Along with offers to OSU and Tennessee, he also has a list that includes Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Texas, USC, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and others.


Colin Bussey, DE: Bussey isn’t ranked on the major recruiting services, but he’s been piling on offers since getting his first from App State in November. Since then, OSU, NC State, UConn, FAU, East Carolina and others have joined the fold. He’s a 6-4, 250-pound defensive end from Douglasville, Georgia.


Tripp Skewes, OL: 247Sports tabs Skewes as the No. 114 offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the No. 14 prospect from Colorado. Listed at 6-6, 290 pounds, Skewes plays at Kent Denver School in Englewood, Colorado. He posed with new OSU O-line coach Andrew Mitchell earlier this month to announce his offer. His recruitment has taken off here lately, announcing offers to North Carolina, Syracuse, Kansas State, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, Arizona, OSU, Utah and others since April.


Class of 2027

Tyson Robinson, RB: A 5-foot-10, 199-pound running back, Robinson is the No. 29 player in 247Sports’ Composite ranking for the 2027 class, making him the No. 3 running back in the cycle. Another Mississippian, Robinson has offers to Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others. He ran for 1,295 yards and 24 touchdowns as a sophomore at Brandon High while also recording 668 receiving yards and 10 more scores.


Joshua Vilmael, DB: If Vilmael’s name sounds familiar, it’s probably because his brother, Josiah, is a commit in the Cowboys’ 2026 class. Out of Travis High School in Richmond, Texas, the younger Vilmael is a 6-3, 170-pound DB. OSU is the first offer he has announced.


Braylon Williams, LB: Rivals considers Williams the No. 118 player in the 2027 class, listing him as the No. 26 player from the state of Texas and the No. 6 linebacker in the class. Out of Lamar High School, Williams accounted for 151 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, three sacks, a pair of pass breakups and an interception as a sophomore. He has also reported offers from Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida State, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M and others.


Montre Jackson, DB: Jackson is a speedy defensive back. He ran a 10.39 100-meter dash as a sophomore, according to Athletic.net. Rivals considers him the No. 72 player in the 2027 cycle, making him the No. 12 corner in the class and the No. 17 player from Texas. Out of Lakeview Centennial in Garland, Texas, Jackson is listed at 6-1, 180 pounds. He also has offers to LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Tennessee, SMU, Ole Miss, Baylor and others.


Jeremiah Douglas, WR: The No. 375 player in the 2027 247Sports Composite rankings, Douglas is a 6-foot, 170-pound receiver from Crandall, Texas. According to MileSplit, Douglass ran a 11.09 100-meter dash as a sophomore. He has also reported offers to Texas, USC, Texas A&M, TCU, Nebraska, Arkansas, BYU and others.


Khing Thibodeaux, DL: A high school teammate of Montre Jackson at Lakeview Centennial, Thibodeaux is the No. 133 player in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2027 class. Listed at 6-3, 265 pounds, Thibodeaux has also reported offers to Florida State, Penn State, Arkansas, SMU, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas and others.


Kennedy Brown, OL: Brown is the No. 1 tackle in all of the 2027 class, according to 247Sports, Rivals and On3. Listed at 6-5, 285 pounds, Brown hails from Kingwood High School in the Houston area. He has offers to just about any school you can name, including Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, USC and others.


Brayden Tyson, RB: Ranked as highly as the No. 128 player (On3) in the 2027 class, Tyson hails from Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia. He ran for a ridiculous 2,123 yards and 26 touchdowns as a sophomore. Rivals tabs Tyson as the No. 10 running back in the class. Listed at 6-foot, 215 pounds, he also has offers to Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and others.


Karnell “Greedy” James, DB: 247Sports considers James as the No. 43 corner in the 2027 class and the No. 51 player from the state of Texas. Out of Manvel High School, James made 31 tackles as a sophomore, also recording five tackles for loss, seven pass breakups and an interception. He also has offers to Baylor, SMU, Missouri, Houston, TCU, Wisconsin and others.


Jamarkus Pittman, DL: Pittman is the No. 32 player in all of the 2027 class, according to 247Sports, making him the No. 2 defensive lineman and the No. 3 player from Tennessee in the cycle. He plays his high school ball at Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering. He also has offers to Florida, Florida State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Arkansas and others.


Julian Caldwell, WR: On3 has tabbed Caldwell as the No. 51 overall player and No. 8 wide receiver in the class. Out of Argyle, Texas, Caldwell is the No. 10 player from the Lone Star State, according to the recruiting service. He caught 21 passes for 581 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore. Caldwell ran a 10.92 100-meter dash this school year and also has offers to Texas, Texas A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Texas Tech, USC, Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Arkansas and others.
