Morgantown is never an easy place to win, but things will be harder than normal for the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State will be without Cade Cunningham and Isaac Likekele in Saturday’s matchup against West Virginia, according to Dave Hunziker. PFB was able to confirm Hunziker’s report. The pair combined for 47 points against the Mountaineers in OSU’s 87-84 loss in Stillwater.

Cunningham rolled his left ankle late in Thursday’s game against Baylor. He needed help walking to the bench but was able to walk to the locker room on his own. It was confirmed Friday that Cunningham suffered a sprain. The injury is not serious, according to Hunziker.

Cunningham is averaging a Big 12-leading 19.7 points a game as a freshman. He is also averaging six rebounds and 3.5 assists.

This will be the sixth game Likekele has missed in OSU’s 25-game regular season. Likekele battle through a foot injury in the early part of the year that eventually saw him miss some time. After coming back from his foot injury, Likekele injured his hand in practice. He hasn’t played since OSU’s 74-69 victory against Texas Tech on Feb. 22.

Likekele is averaging 9.8 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds a game in his junior season.

The Cowboys can finish as high as the four seed in the Big 12 Tournament and as low as sixth. That means OSU will not have to play in the first round in Kansas City and will slot directly into the quarterfinals.

OSU and West Virginia are scheduled to tip off at 1 p.m.
