Report: Oklahoma State, Texas A&M Schedule Basketball Home-and-Home
The Cowboys and Aggies renew an old conference rivalry.
An old Big 12 rivalry is set to renew on the hardwood next school year.
According to a report from CBS Sports basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the Cowboys host Texas A&M on Nov. 9. Coach Steve Lutz and his squad will then make a return trip to College Station at some point in the 2026-27 season.
The Aggies earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament this spring and finished with an overall record of 23-11 after a second-round loss to 5 seed Michigan.
This will be the first meeting with the Aggies since Oklahoma State beat them 73-62 on Jan. 25, 2020. The Cowboys hold a 32-18 lead in the all-time series with a 15-5 record at home. Despite that Oklahoma State is 2-5 against Texas A&M since March 2010.
This is a piece to the nonconference puzzle that Lutz is putting together. In recent months, OSU has also scheduled Bedlam in Paycom Center and a game against Grand Canyon in Phoenix.
