Signing Day: Oklahoma State Basketball Set to Sign Top 5 Recruiting Class
OSU entered the day with the No. 3 class in the country.
Steve Lutz’s Cowboys enter Wednesday’s early signing day with the No. 3 recruiting class in the country.
Oklahoma State is expected to sign a trio of players Wednesday for a class that trails only that of Missouri and Kansas nationally. We’ll update this post throughout the day as those national letters of intent come in.
Parker Robinson
New Market, Maryland / 6-5 / 4⭐
Other offers: Illinois, West Virginia, Providence and others
Robinson is a do-it-all guard out of the Overtime Elite League. His final season with RWE has already started, and through four games, he’s averaging 10.3 points, three rebounds and 0.5 assists a game.
He’s the No. 116 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the class.
He played AAU ball with Team Takeover in Nike’s EYBL this summer. In 15 EYBL games between April and mid-July, he averaged 12.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 36% from 3.
“Parker is strong and sneaky athletic, with a 35-inch vertical,” Lutz said in OSU’s release. “He’s a good shooter and decision-maker who understands how to make plays for both himself and others. He has competed at a high level for a long time, but I believe that his best basketball is still ahead of him. In addition, he’s a standout in the classroom, earning 4.0 GPA. We’re excited to welcome him to Stillwater and the Cowboy Basketball family.”
Jalen Montonati
Owasso / 6-7 / 4⭐
Other offers: Kansas, Arkansas, Alabama, Houston, Oklahoma, Michigan, Tennessee and others
The some of former Cowboy Brian Montonati, Jalen is the No. 59 player in the 2026 247Sports Composite ranking, making him the state of Oklahoma’s top prospect.
Montonati is already a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year for the state. If he wins it again this year, he’d become the state’s first three-time winner for boy’s basketball.
OSU was Montonati’s first offer, with Mike Boynton extending a scholarship back in 2022 shortly after Montonati started his freshman year of high school. Then Lutz was able to close the deal after a coaching change, making Montonati a priority in the class by meeting with him at midnight the day a recruiting period opened.
Montonati averaged 15.8 points, two rebounds and 2.8 assists a game at Peach Jam, playing for MOKAN Elite, scoring 29 points in his team’s final game while going 4-for-7 from deep.
“The first thing that stands out to you about Jalen is how competitive he is. He loves to win, and he’s willing to put in the time and the effort to make it happen,” Lutz said. “He’s a skilled, versatile player and he makes shots at a high level. He has a great understanding and feel for the game and knows how to work his way into spots where he can do the most damage. We’re thrilled that he’s decided to stay home and play for the Cowboys.”
Latrell Allmond
Petersburg, Virginia / 6-8 / 4⭐
Other offers: Maryland. Tennessee, Indiana, Virginia, Kansas, Michigan, LSU and others
Allmond’s recruitment came down to the wire, with not many knowing where he was going to go before announcing last month that he’ll be a Cowboy.
He’s the No. 27 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the class and the highest-rated player to sign with OSU since Cade Cunningham.
Allmond averaged 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 blocks a game this past AAU season with Team Loaded in the Adidas-sponsored 3SSB.
During his junior season of high school ball, Allmond averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks a game while shooting a ridiculous 66% from the field and 44% from 3, leading his high school to a state title and Virginia Class 2 Player of the Year honors.
“Cowboy fans are going to love watching Latrell,” Lutz said. “He’s a serious-minded, hard working young man who comes from a great family, and he plays the game with a real edge. He can score at all three levels and impacts both ends of the floor with his versatility. We’re looking forward to having him on campus next fall.”
