In honor of Garrett Wittels’ 56-game hit streak ending last night, thus preserving Robin Ventura’s 58-gamer, I thought I’d throw these up.
The first one is Monty Farris talking about how nobody will ever get close to 58 (sorry Monty, not exactly true…) and what a great teammate Ventura was throughout the whole ordeal.
The second is of Ventura talking about what he loves about Oklahoma State. Both of them are phenomenal. Thanks Southeastern Louisiana for preserving the greatest record for the greatest player in college baseball history.
