Marquise Robinson had an interception and a big win in Boone Pickens Stadium this past season, and now he has the chance to return to Stillwater.

Robinson, a cornerback transfer from South Alabama, announced an Oklahoma State offer Tuesday night. Listed at 6-foot-1, 184 pounds, Robinson had 36 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery for the Jaguars this past season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

In the Jaguars’ 33-7 upset win against OSU this season, Robinson picked off Alan Bowman in the second quarter, returning the pick 24 yards. He also had two tackles in the game.

Robinson has proven to be a hot commodity since entering the portal Thursday. He has already announced offers to Arkansas, Mississippi State, Houston, Kentucky and others.

From Crosby, Mississippi, Robinson started his college career in the JUCO ranks. In one season at Southwest Mississippi Community College, Robinson recorded 34 total tackles, an interception and two breakups. He chose South Alabama over offers from Memphis, Mississippi Valley State and Prairie View A&M.

Robinson played in 11 games as a sophomore in his first season at South Alabama, making 28 tackles.

OSU used four corners a good amount in 2023 in senior Korie Black, redshirt sophomore Cam Smith, redshirt freshman D.J. McKinney and redshirt sophomore Kale Smith. Black could return to Stillwater for an extra year because of the pandemic, should he choose. McKinney entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.
