Taking a Look at Big 12 Bowl Affiliations for Next Season

Although we’re months away from the start of college football’s regular season, it’s never too early to start thinking about the postseason. Apparently, the schedule creators have been thinking about it as well, as the bowl affiliations were released a couple of weeks ago. Here’s a list of the bowls Big 12 teams are set to participate in. Armed Forces Bowl – Dec. 22 – Big 12 vs. American – ESPN

Cactus Bowl – Dec. 26 – Big 12 vs. Pac 12 – ESPN

Last year’s result: Kansas State 35, UCLA 17

OSU’s last appearance: 2014 against Washington (won 30-22)

Texas Bowl – Dec. 27 – Big 12 vs. SEC – ESPN

Last year’s result: Texas 33, Missouri 16

OSU’s last appearance: N/A

Camping World Bowl – Dec. 28 – Notre Dame/ACC vs. Big 12 – ESPN

Last year’s result: Oklahoma State 30, Virginia Tech 21

Alamo Bowl – Dec. 28 – Big 12 vs. Pac 12 – ESPN

Last year’s result: TCU 39, Stanford 37

OSU’s last appearance: 2016 vs. Colorado (won 38-8). The Cowboys are 2-2 all-time in the Alamo Bowl.

Liberty Bowl – Dec. 31 – Big 12 vs. SEC – ESPN
