The Internet Had Plenty to Say After the Big 12 Expansion Was Made Official
The best from Twitter in response to the league’s new additions being made official.
On Friday, the addition of BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston to the Big 12 was made official. All four programs will join the conference for the 2023-24 season, and in all sports. The move which solidifies the league in the wake of OU-Texit™, which isn’t set to take effect until 2025.
So we’ll have a Big 14 (?) for a couple years.
As you might expect, #OKState folks, other Big 12ers and national pundits alike took to social media to react to the inevitable becoming concrete. Here’s the best of what came across my timeline.
I am all the way on board with this after watching Cincinnati’s Big 12 hype vid. Do yourself a favor.
Other Big 12 schools joined in to welcome their future colleagues.
All of this.
