Chatmon breaks down our bowl possibilities – I think I’d be OK with the Alamo now that it’s probably not going to be against Arizona. Weeden and Locker can have a “who’s the better pro prospect” contest and Todd McShay can talk about how all of U Dub’s WRs are better than Blackmon!

Justin Blackmon says ‘I love you’ after Bedlam to an OU FCA rep – Jenni Carlson with a moving story! Incidentally, she didn’t actually write it!

Billy Bajema and Sam Bradford are boys – “Bradford was asked how a player who doesn’t catch a pass for two years can make such an impact. ‘Yeah, that blows my mind,’ Bradford said. ‘I didn’t know that until you said that right now, but to hear that blows my mind. The things that he’s able to do for this offense, the way he catches the ball, he has great hands. It’s hard to believe that he went two full seasons without a catch.'”

Dallas Morning News with some words on Blackmon – “On one hand, with digits to spare, you can count the number of times Nebraska’s Prince Amukamara was beaten badly this season. The same holds true for Texas’ Aaron Williams. Blackmon torched both of those future NFL cornerbacks. In his sophomore season, Blackmon blossomed into the most dominant receiver in the country, producing highlight after highlight. Despite playing 11 games because of a suspension, he finished with 102 receptions for 1,665 yards and 18 touchdowns. If anything, the numbers don’t do justice to Blackmon’s productivity. His presence opened up the field, allowing Oklahoma State to rank second nationally in total offense.” Of course they follow that up by naming Mike Sherman coach of the year and putting Landry Jones as the 1st team QB, but at least they like Blackmon.

NCAA President on Cam – I know it’s long over, and I shouldn’t care anyway, but it really irks me that Newton can claim “I knew nothing” and the NCAA looks the other way when Dez was a man about saying “hey, I lied, I shouldn’t have, I’m sorry” and he gets a YEAR (!) suspension. REALLY irks me. Go Gamecocks.

ESPN airing a documentary on the SMU scandal right after the Heisman presentation – I know they didn’t mean to do this because ESPN loves them some SEC football, but this is pretty funny.

KU sneaks by UCLA on a bad call – Anything to preserve the 64-game winning streak. I just realized how little I know about college basketball right now. Much homework to do…
