Tony Allen is blowing up right now. First there was this somewhat unique post about how valuable his defensive prowess is to NBA teams in the New York Times (thanks to PFB reader, Dave for the link). And then last night, in a moment of sheer elation at the thought of what could possibly come in the future, I found his Twitter account.

This quote from Travis Ford is curious and I’m not sure that I fully agree with it. I think the opposite really, that your defensive play should empower you to get easy buckets on offense.
