Three Cowboys picked up conference accolades Tuesday, more than a month before the season is set to start.
Oklahoma State’s Tylan Wallace, Chuba Hubbard and A.J. Green were named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team, the conference announced Tuesday. Media votes determined the team, unlike the coaches-voted postseason teams.
The three Cowboys seemed like no-brainers.
Wallace was a first-team All-American and a Biletnikoff Finalist as a sophomore in 2018 after racking up 1,491 receiving yards. Hubbard took over for an injured Justice Hill late last season and rushed for 100+ yards in three of his four games as OSU’s featured back. Green has started the past 26 games at corner for the Pokes. Last season, Green led the Cowboys with 11 pass breakups.
Here is a look at the entirety of the Big 12’s preseason team:
Oklahoma leads the league with five all-conference selections (six including CeeDee Lamb also being named the returner). Texas, Iowa State and TCU each follow with four. Oklahoma State is the only school with three. Baylor, Kansas and Texas Tech each have two, and Kansas State and West Virginia have a sole representative.
