Uniform Reveal: Cowboys Go Black-Black-Orange for Bedlam

Oklahoma State’s equipment staff is superstitious after all.

When the Cowboys take the field for the final time against the Sooners, they will look a lot like they did the last time they hosted OU.

This is, of course, the same color jersey and pants and the same helmet OSU wore when the Cowboys defeated Oklahoma at home two years ago. But the superstition goes back even further. Since the start of 2011, OSU is 4-0 in B-B-O.

For those keeping score, I actually got one. I predicted this exact uniform and helmet combination in this week’s picks. Whether or not that’s good luck remains to be seen.
