First of all, when did Ryen Russillo start working out with LaRon Landry?
The Celts-Pats comparison starts at 3:05 and crests with Simmons (I think, jokingly) comparing Marcus Smart to Tom Brady at the 3:55 mark.
Still, Smart is averaging 7-3-3-1 in his first year for a Boston team that’s flirting with the playoffs. To throw out a comp we’re all familiar with (though probably not a great one in terms of position), here’s how that compares to Tony Allen’s rookie season:
Tom Brady, he is not, but with a superstar leading him, I think Marcus Smart has a chance to be a good player on a great playoff team someday.
