3 Halftime Thoughts

Published

on

Oklahoma State is up 31-7 after creating four first half turnovers. Here are three halftime observations

1. Chris Carson is looking good today

Carson has looked impressive in every game this season, but the first half the offensive line did an excellent job run blocking and creating holes. More importantly, he averaged 7.1 yards per carry. That’s a great deal of improvement over the last week, and a sign the offensive line may be figuring things out.

2. W.T.I.B.

Like I mentioned above, the defense forced four turnovers in the first half. Even more important, the offense has capitalized on turnovers. All of the points came off turnovers.

3. Walsh and Rudolph both look good

Kyle mentioned this one: OSU has used both of their quarterbacks perfectly to this point. Walsh on the goal line and wish bone is perfectly playing to his strengths. Rudolph threw a few deep balls and also connected on a fade to Jhajuan Seales for a TD. They’re both getting some really good looks and look sharp.
