4-Star Center Recruit David McCormack Visits Oklahoma State

Mike Boynton has his program trending for the No. 2 ranked center recruit in the 2018 class, and on Friday he hosted him in Stillwater for an unofficial visit. Here’s a look at big man David McCormack donning the orange and black in a photo shoot.

McCormack is a 6-foot-9 monster ranked as the No. 50 overall prospect in the 2018 class, and a four-star recruit in the 247Sports composite. Although he’s gathered 25+ offers from the likes of Duke, Kansas, Maryland and Georgetown, the Cowboys are trending lately as the favorite in his crystal ball with six of the last predictions from recruiting experts coming in favor of Oklahoma State.

OSU’s recent trend towards the favorite has come as a result of Boynton’s decision to hire long-time AAU coach David Kontaxis, who has strong ties on the AAU circuit nationally.

McCormack made an unofficial visit to Duke and NC State within the last week and has also visited Virginia.
