Watch: Go Inside the Locker Room After OSU’s Overtime Win Over Iowa State
Following OSU’s thrilling overtime win over Iowa State on Saturday afternoon, Mike Boynton addressed his team and gave fans unparalleled access to the war room postgame.
Boynton discussed the areas OSU struggled with against the Cyclones but applauded his team’s effort and their willingness to fight, using boxing gloves as a visual aid to talk about how his team went toe-to-toe and knocked out Steve Prohm’s unit.
“I can’t tell you guys how proud I am of you responding the right way,” said Boynton. “Coming out and delivering the blows, taking a couple, standing there and keep swinging.”
“I don’t care where they’re projected to finish. When you step on that court it’s going to be a fight … If we have that kind of fight every night, me and the staff will have the rest of the stuff cleaned up.”
Love it. Big 12 win No. 1 for Mikey B. couldn’t have been more thrilling. Check out the full clip below.
