Markel Brown Scores 41 in G-League Victory for Vipers
Former Oklahoma State guard Markel Brown scored 41 points and led the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to a 117-111 victory over the Iowa Wolves Friday night.
Brown, who signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets in January, also earned a double-double with 11 rebounds.
The Cowboy alumnus will likely stay with the Vipers for the remainder of the season, as Houston recently called up Zhou Qi, Chinanu Onuaku and Troy Williams from the G League last week.
