Daily Bullets
Daily Bullets (August 16) – Vacancies in the 2019 Recruiting Class, Can the Cowboys Separate from the Pack this Fall?
Winding Down
As the fall grows closer, the 2019 Cowboy Football recruiting class has almost taken it’s full shape. See who Bobby A. and the boys say there’s room for still.
Okay, so what is left. You know there will be at least one wide receiver and an offensive bonus scholarship, which I could see being either a running back (especially if Justice Hill were to declare for the NFL) or another offensive lineman. That would close out the offense.
On defense there will be at least one more defensive end, maybe two and one could likely be a junior college player. There will be at least one or two more defensive tackles. I would look for another linebacker, and a safety. [GoPokes]
These are sentiments Boone has mostly voice with the GoPokes gang having more optimism on landing Barlow at running back. It seems like the Pokes could afford to miss on a wide receiver at this point.
Big 12’s Big Questions
Not OSU-specific but a college football (and Texas) blogger had a great list of qualities that will define the records for 2/3rds of the Big 12 this fall.
Big questions for most teams include:
-Can they overstress a defense with two dominant features?
-Do they have effective leadership at QB?
-Can their defense attack opponents or are they going to have to turtle up and pray that injuries don’t crush them? [Concerning Sports]
Other than Justice Hill to the left and Justice to the right, what can the Cowboys unleash in a nearly unstoppable way? Will Corndog’s years in the system translate to a winning team? Knowles will sic offenses with all it’s got with the end result being their destruction or quick scores for the opponent. Great questions to consider.

Preseason injuries are the worst.
BREAKING #TCU standout DT Ross Blacklock is expected to be out for the season due to an achilles injury suffered at practice on Tuesday, a source told me. He was the co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. 247 first reported the news.
