Liberty Uniform Predictions: What Will Pokes Wear vs. Mizzou?
How will OSU answer Mizzou’s throwback helmets?
Welcome to the final uniform predictions of 2018 on the final day of the year. The Pokes get the Missouri Tigers today in Memphis and will play as the home team. Mizzou is going throwback helmets (sick ones at that), and here’s what we think OSU will counter with.
Southwell: I’m going to predict all black for the bowl game. OSU has worn either black or white jerseys for the bowl games since the release of all the combos back in 2011, and all black has been their most common bowl game combo.
I think they change the combo up slightly by using the ice chrome brand logo as seen in the Kansas game earlier this season.
Carson: I stink at predicting this year so I’m going with what I want to see. Fin.
Porter: This is a terrible pick that sounded great in my head, and then I saw it on paper and thought, “There is a 0 percent chance they’re wearing white-orange-white for a bowl game in which they’ve used a black helmet as their logo all week.” Like Carson insinuated, it doesn’t much matter though because Southwell (aptly numbered 30) is galloping away from everybody else, and not even two bowl games could save us.
