Video: Drenched Mullet, Cowboys Accept Liberty Bowl Trophy
OSU celebrated appropriately after claiming its 7th win of 2018.
After one of the weirdest football games ended one of the weirdest seasons, Mike Gundy stepped on the field in Memphis drenched in orange Gatorade.

Gundy, and his heavily dressed salad, shook Mizzou coach Barry Odom’s hand after Oklahoma State’s 38-33 victory in Monday’s Liberty Bowl, and he walked to his post game TV interview where his famous head of hair was brought up.
Here’s a look from the back of the waterfall that is wetter than normal.

Later the Cowboys finally got their hands on the Liberty Bowl trophy, a nice-looking trophy at that.

The 2018 OSU football season was quite the ride. From a quarterback battle that ended up not being much of a quarterback battle, to an exciting win against Boise State just to get thrashed by Texas Tech the next weekend. Then came losses to Iowa State and Kansas State before upsetting Texas just to then lose to Baylor then nearly upset Oklahoma in Bedlam. Then everything seemed to be on the right track as the Cowboys upset West Virginia just to get embarrassed in Fort Worth. You can call this year a lot of things, but you can’t call it boring.
