OSU Recruiting: 2019 Forward on Official Visit to Stillwater
Kevin Cross would be a nice pickup for Boynton to round out the 2019 class.
This past Monday, Stadium’s Jeff Goodman broke the news that UMass graduate transfer Jonathan Laurent would be visiting Stillwater this weekend. Now, it seems that it won’t just be Laurent visiting Oklahoma State’s campus this week as 2019 high school prospect Kevin Cross is taking a tour of the Cowboy facilities.
He tweeted out the pictures below earlier this evening.

Cross has been busy this past week, as he is currently on an official visit in Stillwater after coming off an official visit to Nebraska last weekend. He received an offer from the Pokes at the beginning of April, and his recruitment has really picked up as of late after not garnering much interest during most of his high school career. The other schools who are reportedly interested in the Arkansas native outside of the Cornhuskers and Cowboys, are Illinois, Southern Miss and TCU.
The Mills University Studies High School product is very athletic for his size at 6-8, 240 pounds. He has nice technique to score in the post, but can also step outside the arc and knock them down from distance, as you see in the following clip.
In addition, he is a good, physical rebounder and can handle the ball really well for a forward. As Marshall Scott mentioned to me in our Slack, rounding out the 2019 class with Cross and Laurent would be pretty solid for the Cowboys.
