A shorthanded Oklahoma State team survived even more bumps and bruises — and a gruesome first half — to come from behind and pull out a win in Manhattan.

As dire as things looked for much of the last two weeks of Oklahoma State football, the Cowboys still control their own destiny in the Big 12 title race.

Let’s start with that wacky, ugly game in the Little Apple.

OSU Bullets

• If you haven’t, be sure you dive into Marshall’s 10 Thoughts on OSU’s comeback win.

• OSU’s equipment staff, once again, knocked one out of the park. How about those Cursive Cowboys helmets. (Although in the second half I was starting to think they were cursed.)

• And this upcoming bye week comes at the perfect time for the beat-up Cowboys.

• Dez could make his return to the NFL against the Colts on Sunday.

• This piece by ESPN on Stanford’s David Shaw and his brother was touching and well-done.

• It was not Justin Fuente’s brightest hour.

• Book Rec: I am almost finished with The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable. It’s one of the better corporate leadership books I’ve ever read, mainly because it doesn’t read like one.
