Oklahoma State Sophomore Connor Dow Enters Transfer Portal
It’s OSU’s first portal movement of the offseason.
The first bit of portal movement for Cowboy basketball this offseason has taken place.
Connor Dow has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Dow was a sophomore this past season, averaging 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 24 games. In the past two seasons, Dow had taken part in 51 games, starting eight.
Listed at 6-foot-6, Dow hails from Broken Arrow. He was a three-star prospect in OSU’s 2023 recruiting class, picking the Pokes over offers from Oral Roberts, South Dakota State, Toledo and others. He was one of five in that final Mike Boynton era recruiting class along with Brandon Garrison, Eric Dailey Jr., Justin McBride and Jamyron Keller. Keller is the only one left. The other three transferred last offseason.
Dow put up a career-high 12 points in the Cowboys’ Big 12 tournament game against Cincinnati earlier this month, going 4-for-5 from 3-point range. He did all that in just 13 minutes on the floor. His previous career-high came in his college debut, where he scored nine points in 21 minutes against Abilene Christian in 2023, going 3-for-7 from 3.
Dow broke into the starting lineup for a seven-game stretch during his freshman season, helping the Pokes to their first two conference wins of the year in that stretch.
OSU coach Steve Lutz has some work to do in the portal, as eight scholarship players were listed as seniors this past season. The Cowboys have signed a pair of high school prospects (Ryan Crotty and Mekhi Ragland) and have another (Ben Ahmed) committed. But that still leaves six openings with Dow’s entrance into the portal.
