The Denton-to-Stillwater pipeline kept flowing Monday morning.

Oklahoma State announced that North Texas corner transfer Kollin Lewis had signed with the program. Lewis was a redshirt sophomore in 2025, where he played in 13 games and made one start. He finished the year with 15 tackles, a tackle for loss, two interceptions, a PBU and a forced fumble.

According to PFF, Lewis was targeted 20 times this season and gave up just nine receptions. That 45% reception rate ranked sixth among American Conference corners with at least 112 coverage snaps. Those nine catches amounted to just 80 yards for the opposing offenses, as Lewis’ 8.9 yards allowed per reception also ranked sixth among those qualifying CBs.

Listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Lewis has totaled 29 tackles in his three seasons in Denton. He took a redshirt while playing in three games in 2023 before playing in 10 games (one start) as a redshirt freshman in 2024.

Lewis comes from Gladewater, Texas which is in the eastern portion of the state, getting close the Shreveport. He played DB and wide receiver in high school and was a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, who the 247Sports Composite ranking considered the No. 1,958 player in the cycle. He picked the Mean Green over offers from Texas State, Arkansas State, UTSA and Louisiana Tech.

As a transfer, 247Sports lists Lewis as a three-star prospect and the No. 472 player in the transfer portal. On3 is a little higher on him, listing him as the No. 328 player and No. 29 corner in the portal.

Lewis is the third portal defensive back the Pokes have picked up thus far, joining UNT transfer safety Quinton Hammonds and Kansas State transfer corner Kanijal Thomas. Of the 14 known commitments OSU has added in the early portions of this portal window, 11 have come from Eric Morris’ UNT roster from last season.
