The rising senior outfielder is coming off a career season which saw him bat .326 and log an on-base percentage of .804 and a slugging percentage of .804. His 31 home runs ranked fourth nationally this season and led the conference. He also ranked third in the league in RBI (75) and second in runs (81).
He was one of five Cowboys drafted in the 2026 MLB Draft, led by fellow Cowboys outfielder Alex Conover who was drafted No. 134th overall in the fourth round.
Ritchie lasted all the way to the 20th round of the 2026 MBL Draft, but his drop very well may have been a result of his decision to return for his senior season. He was selected No. 594 overall by the St. Louis Cardinals.
