Watch: Oklahoma State Holds Memorial Service in GIA for Homecoming
The good people of Stillwater gathered in GIA on Tuesday to memorialize the folks who lost the lives and were injured in the Homecoming tragedy two weeks ago.
“We are some of the bravest, most courageous, toughest people anywhere, said Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb. “Unfortunately, far too often our state and this university have had to prove it. A week and a half ago our state’s tears were orange. We are equipped at responding to heartbreak. Not because of the frequency of tragedy but rather because of the abundance of love.”
Man. That’s heavy.
Burns Hargis makes an appearance as well. “It’s not a cliche, there really is something called the OSU family,” he said.
