Ole Miss All-American Robert Nkemdiche Suspended for Sugar Bowl, Declares for Draft
According to multiple media reports, Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche will not play in the upcoming sugar bowl against Oklahoma State following a recent fall from a fourth floor hotel room and subsequent arrest for possession of marijuana.
Since Nkemdiche is essentially done for the season, he also felt there was no use in waiting to announce his plans for the future. Scout’s Ben Garrett says Nkemdiche will head to Miami instead, and prepare for the upcoming NFL draft, where is expected to be taken in the first round.
