Expert Reaction to Oklahoma State’s Michigan Draw
After losing three-straight including a one-and-done performance in the Big 12 Tournament, Oklahoma State earned a 10 seed in the Midwest Regional and a matchup against 7-seeded Michigan, who has won five straight including a run to win the Big 10 Tournament.
Two high-scoring offenses will face off in Indianapolis on Friday and at least some of college basketball’s talking heads like the matchup for OSU.
Here’s CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander on the draw.
Give me Oklahoma State over Michigan. I love that matchup for the Cowboys.

Doug Gottlieb also likes his alma mater’s shot against the white-hot Wolverines.
Perfect matchup for Oklahoma State. Unless your 4 man is Deonte Burton, you aren't playing small ball vs OSU. #SelectionShow

The Tulsa World’s Guerin Emig was also in on it for the orange and black.
Don't curse #OKState seed. Pokes got break getting off the 8-9, even by falling. I bet they beat Mich. Also would rather face Ville than a 1

Others weighed in on what should be an amazing offensive show.
Midwest should have an insanely fun first round. Iona-Oregon. Michigan-Oklahoma State. Iowa State-Nevada. So many points.

Do we have a total yet in Oklahoma State-Michigan? Like, 175 probably, right?

There was one analyst, however, who did not like the matchup for the Cowboys.
Jawun Evans cringed as Seth Davis hyped Lville-Michigan matchup on CBS. Evans told me: "Yeah, I heard that. I’m gonna keep that in mind."

The Cowboys got a bit of a harsh draw with the 10th spot and were the 37th seed overall in the Tournament. Especially since they are ranked No. 1 by KenPom in adjusted strength of schedule.
#okstate had 12 (10 of which were to KU, Iowa State, WVU, Baylor, UNC and Maryland) ….. ? https://t.co/RRKXxAZ3zY
