Defensive End Tyler Lacy Commits to Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State has landed a commitment from defensive end prospect Tyler Lacy, a 2018 recruit who visited Stillwater this weekend — his second unofficial visit to OSU in the past month.
“First and foremost I give all praise to God for blessing me with the opportunity and talent to play football at the next level,” Lacy tweeted on Sunday. “I would like to thank my family and coaches for all of their support along my journey. And to all of the coaches and recruiters that believed in me, I would like to thank them as well. After many discussions with my family and close friends, I am blessed to say that I will be committing to Oklahoma State University where I will be a Cowboy!”
Lacy is an under-the-radar find for the OSU staff, who held offers from Arkansas State, Houston, Colorado State, Texas Tech and others before OSU offered on junior day two weeks ago. It was enough to not only grab his attention but also his commitment, giving OSU its eighth commitment in the 2018 class, and second commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
