In an interview on Thursday, Smith said he came away impressed with his OSU visit—his first trip to Stillwater.
“I loved it honestly,” Smith said. “I had no idea the school was that beautiful. I fell in love with the campus.”
Despite a trimmed list of schools from 21 to 10 on Thursday evening, he told Pistols Firing that OSU is in tier No. 1 in his eyes.
“OSU is definitely in my top 3,” he said. “The facilities really stood out to me the most.”
Smith says OSU is pitching the opportunity for early playing time to him. He hasn’t decided when he’ll make a commitment.
