Zach Sinor Explains How His Heisman Campaign Got Started
FRISCO, Tex. — Zach Sinor launched his Heisman campaign a few weeks ago, but he kicked it into high gear this week at Big 12 Media Days. He talked about when the idea started (after Central Michigan last year) and why he thinks he has a chance at winning the top trophy in college football (because he loves dogs). The whole thing was lighthearted and fun and hilarious.

“The media people did a great job and said, ‘You know, just take off with it and run with it and have fun with it and enjoy it,’ Sinor said on Tuesday. “That’s what I’m doing. I’m going back to my fans. All the people who have been there through the good and bad. I’m sticking with it.”
“I went to a store in Stillwater and got my shirt made, and I also got these pamphlets made. I did (the website) on the way down from Stillwater this morning.”
Amazing. Oklahoma State has done a great job the last few years of not taking this week too seriously and yet owning it because of that. From Gundy’s hair to Sinor’s Geocities website and brochures, all of it is tasteful and enjoyable and part of what makes college football so great.
