Vincent Taylor Blocks His First NFL Field Goal against Baltimore Ravens
Rookie defensive tackle Vincent Taylor put his giant 10-and-a-half inch mitt in front of a 46-yard field goal attempt of Ravens kicker Justin Tucker on Thursday night.
It’s a familiar sight for Oklahoma State fans who saw the former Cowboy ruin four such specialist plays a season ago.

After he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins, the sixth-round pick told the Palm Beach Post all about those giant bear paws.
“At the Combine, they measured my hands at 10½ (inches),” Taylor said with a grin. “(I) blocked five field goals (and) my hands played a huge part in that. I think my hands are pretty big.”
Taylor has seen his snaps decline in recent weeks with the return from injury of third-year tackle and former Oklahoma Sooner Jordan Phillips. But he’s played well when given the opportunity and is looked at as a future building block for the ‘Phins. Plays like this surely can’t hurt his case for reps.
