All OSU Teams Will Wear Patches or Stickers Honoring Boone Pickens
OSU athletes are going to wear “Boone” patches for the rest of this school year.
For the rest of the 2019-20 school year, all Oklahoma State athletes will have “Boone” somewhere on their uniforms.
The university announced Friday that all of OSU’s athletic teams will have a patch or sticker on their gear in remembrance of Boone Pickens, who died Sept. 11 at 91.
The Oklahoma State football team donned Boone helmet stickers against Tulsa three days after Pickens’ death and did so again in Austin against Texas.

The Cowgirl soccer team has also already started wearing the patch.

Here’s a look at some of the other uniforms from a distance and what they’ll look like with the patch on there (also, OSU inadvertently released a football helmet we haven’t seen with this tweet).

Pickens donated $652 million to Oklahoma State in his lifetime and inspired others to donated to the university, as well.
OSU held a celebration of life for Pickens on Wednesday in Gallagher-Iba Arena where everyone from Mike Gundy to Burns Hargis to Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt spoke.
