An Oklahoma State Fan’s Guide to the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine
Five former Cowboys have received invites to this year’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis which gets going on Wednesday and lasts through Monday.
For those of you who would like to stay abreast of the progress of one of OSU’s most star-laden classes ever, we’ve outlined the schedule for each player/group and how you can tune in and keep up.
The combine is split up by position and then into subgroups. The quarterback and wide receiver groups — where the bulk of OSU’s class falls — are Day 2 arrivals and will report on Wednesday. The only Cowboy outside of that group is Tre Flowers who will be a Day 4 arrival with the rest of the defensive backs.
Here’s a quick timeline and how the week looks for each group. The workouts will be televised on the NFL Network.
Day 2 Arrivals – QBs/WRs (Rudolph, Washington, Ateman, Lacy)
Marcell Ateman and Chris Lacy are in Group 4, and Mason Rudolph and James Washington are in Group 5.
• Wednesday, Feb. 28 — Arrival / Registration, Pre-Hospital Exam/X-Rays, Overflow Testing, Orientation, Interviews
• Thursday, March 1 — Measurements, Medical Exams, Overflow Testing, Interviews
• Friday, March 2 — Psychological Testing, NFLPA Meeting, Media, Bench Press, Interviews
• Saturday, March 3 — On-Field Workout (timing, stations, skill drills)
Day 4 Arrivals – DBs (Flowers)
Tre Flowers is in Group 11. Here’s how his weekend will look.
• Friday, March 2 — Arrival / Registration, Pre-Hospital Exam/X-Rays, Overflow Testing, Orientation, Interviews
• Saturday, March 3 — Measurements, Medical Exams, Overflow Testing, Interviews
• Sunday, March 4 — Psychological Testing, NFLPA Meeting, Media, Bench Press, Interviews

Of course, we will have coverage throughout the event so if you want to see which wideout logs the fastest 40 time, or hear the latest Mike Mayock criticism of Mason Rudolph or OSU’s offensive system, we’ll have you covered.
