After a week on the outside, the Pokes are back in it.

Oklahoma State returned to the AP’s Top 25 ranking, landing at No. 24, after defeating Colorado 57-24 on Saturday. The Pokes took a one-week hiatus, falling to the second team out (effectively 27th) after their road loss to Houston.

The coaches weren’t quite as impressed with the win. The Cowboys are still the first team out of the US LBM Coaches poll, receiving 120 votes.

While the Cowboys got right, the rest of the Big 12 descended into chaos. It was not a great look for the league at the top.

The Big 12 Cannibalizes Itself

No. 2 BYU fell to unranked UCF after a wild finish. The Cougars are now ranked 8. No. 8 Texas Tech was upset by unranked Cincinnati. Now the Red Raiders are sitting at 13.

Utah took down Houston in a Top 15 matchup that saw the Utes climb from 10 to 6 and those Cougars drop from 14 to 18.
