Ben Grogan Says He’s ‘Cold-Blooded’ at FIFA
Ben Grogan was the hero for the second straight week. This time, it was a 37-yard game-winner against Kansas State. That followed two 40-yarders against Texas to tie the game in Austin and eventually win it.
How does he do it, though? How does he not throw up all over himself in these situations like the rest of us would?
“Especially with last week being so recent, I kind of had the same mindset,” said Grogan. “My team was down, and I had to do it again so it was kind of like a no-big-deal attitude that I have to have.”
Mike Gundy, on the other hand, is often flummoxed when it comes to kickers.
“In 30 years of being in football at this level, I’ve never understood it,” Gundy said about the kicking (generally). “Ben [Grogan] just goes out and does what he does.”
THE KICK IS GOOD! Ben Grogan knocks through a game-winning 37-yard #FieldGoal to give @CowboyFB a 36-34 victory. http://t.co/L2SVgpqgsO

Yes, he does. And he’s delivered two straight wins to a team that could pretty easily be 3-2. Is he this money in other areas of his life?
“I like to say I’m a pretty cold-blooded FIFA player,” he told the Oklahoman with a smile, “but some teammates may not agree.”
Now that … is a great quote.
