Social Media Reaction from OSU’s Upset over Texas Tech
The two-faced Cowboys pulled off another unexpected upset, knocking off No. 6 Texas Tech in the house that Iba built.
It was a big win and a lot of people were paying attention and talking on twitter. We pulled together some of the best reactions during and after the game.
Not a bad showing considering a 6 p.m. tip-off on a Wednesday night when half the state is shut down due to the weather…

Poetic…
"On an icy cold night in Stillwater, America, as the students storm the floor, Oklahoma State warms up with one of its best offense games of the year, and the Cowboys upset Texas Tech, 79-71!" #okstate

This team has been a rollercoaster ride for fans… but the highs sure have been fun!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't understand this team, but I'll take that win!! pic.twitter.com/W804A3YzsC

Crazy but true fact…
The Big 12-midweek- home game curse is broken for #Okstate.

Kinda weird, but true…

Fans had to be surprised when the Cowboys opened up a big lead early in the second. I know I was…

Thanks Chris…

The negative court-rush takes happened. My take? Who cares. You beat the No. 6 ranked team in the country at home. If it gets more fans to show up, then have at it.
Waiting the holier than thou anti-court storming tweets… pic.twitter.com/kmmtPTBt9A

Yeah they were bad… but they were bad both ways. Or in other words, they were Big 12 refs…
Lmao, OSU player of the game: @Big12Refs
— Viva the Matadors (@vivathematadors) February 22, 2018
I’m not even going to tweet about the refs anymore. I’m done.
— Carson Cunningham (@KOCOCarson) February 22, 2018
Speaking of bad tonight. The announcers… not great.
ESPN announcer has said "we" when referring to Texas Tech like four times in the last two minutes. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'

Being at the game is so much better for many reasons… including not listening to this color guy. @espn #C’monMan!

Wins like this continue to turn more people to the side of Boynton…
Gonna be honest. I’d be more pissed at this point about losing Mike Boynton than I was Brad Underwood. Guy’s upside seems huge.

The loss is Texas Tech’s second straight, and puts the, one game behind Kansas for the Big 12 title.

Another BIG win for the Cowboys, in a season surprisingly full of them. This team is weird but, guess what? Their NCAA Tournament bubble hasn’t burst yet. There’s still a lot of work to do, and nothing is guaranteed, but the opportunity is there for the taking.
I do not understand this #okstate team, but I believe this was its most important W of the season. NCAA Tournament still within reach.

Mike Boynton now has wins over Kansas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Florida State, and Texas Tech in his first year as a head coach. Cowboys are staying alive.

#OKState (16-12, 6-9) has a weird resume and bad RPI. Now owns wins over Texas Tech, West Virginia, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida State.
— Mark Cooper (@mark_cooperjr) February 22, 2018
#okstate is the weirdest team in college basketball. Super fun season with upsets over Florida St, OU, Texas Tech, @ Kansas & @ West Virginia. @thacoachmike is doing an excellent job with this group.
— Michael Doutey (@mike_doutey) February 22, 2018
Fans will be heading to Joe’s to celebrate late into the night tonight!
One last announcement that #okstate is closed tomorrow as fans exit the arena. Met with cheers.

Enjoy the win, enjoy the day off tomorrow, and get ready to cheer on the Cowboys again on Saturday in Austin.
