OSU Bullets

Mike Holder sent an email out to the OSU season ticket holders for football yesterday – here’s a key detail:

In the email, Holder said “ticket demand currently exceeds our capacity,” so therefore OSU “cannot guarantee a seat for everyone.” However, he said OSU is trying to accommodate season ticket account holders and still intends to offer full refunds to those who have purchased tickets but do not feel comfortable attending games amid the pandemic. OSU’s had a slew of brilliant offensive minds coaching the offense under Mike Gundy, Robert Allen takes a stab at what those unique fingerprints are, starting with some commentary on Food Network’s finest.

The Cowboys offensive playbook is like a Food Network Iron Chefs Cookbook. Instead of Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Alex Guarnaschilli with the recipes you have chapters from Gundy (run game and play-action), (Dana) Hologorsen (air raid), (Todd) Monken (pro pass and pro run), and (Mike) Yurcich (RPO). Chuba Hubbard and Tylan Wallace made the AP All-American teams

Baylor landed a grad transfer offensive lineman from UCLA to play this fall…. I don’t know why OSU isn’t trolling the Pacific for linemen at this point.

• I agree with this take – it’s nonsense that we’re ranking the teams with cancelled seasons

OSU hasn’t been highly ranked in the preseason AP as much as you’d guess

• Cowgirl Soccer released a nine-game schedule (all conference play) starting with Bedlam next month

Non-OSU Bullets

• The relativity of time
• Solid short list of faith-based leadership maxims
Denver needs to  trade for Ben Simmons and unlock Nikola Jokic
