Our 14th-most important person to the 2015 season. (PFB)
Barry Sanders snubbed
Barry Sanders isn’t on the 75th Anniversary All-America team. I cannot summons the energy necessary to be outraged over a fake team. (NewsOK)
Mike Gundy isn’t going to argue with those lists either. Solidarity, coach. (NewsOK)
The freshmen
So … Jalen McCleskey is going to play even though OSU has 29 receivers (approximately). (Tulsa World)
I’m being talked into Jeff Carr making the Freshman All-America team. Send help. (NewsOK)
This is excellently-done. Kyle Boone looks at five redshirt freshmen to keep an eye on. They aren’t as sexy as the true freshmen but no less important to OSU’s season. (PFB)

Travis Haney ranks Mike Gundy’s job stability 6th-most secure in the Big 12: Stoops’ decision to re-punt to Tyreek Hill, who returned it for a touchdown, literally might have saved Gundy’s job. There’s a “30 for 30” coming on this in a decade or two. Instead, Oklahoma State got a bowl bid, a bowl win and momentum for this season. And Gundy and Pickens hugged it out. ($) (ESPN)

The back story is pretty crazy. I read it last night and it doesn’t make Baylor look all that great. (Texas Monthly)
And Dan Wolken wrote a really, really strong column about the whole thing. (USA Today)
