OSU Bullets

• Should Cade Cunningham start taking over earlier?

• This talk around OSU’s basketball ranking is insane – had no idea ranking had been so hard to attain:

Oklahoma State came in at No. 24 in the updated Coaches Poll that released Monday. It’s the first time the Cowboys have been in the Coaches Poll’s Top 25 since Dec. 2, 2019, after the NIT Season Tip-Off last season. Before that, the Cowboys haven’t been in the poll since Feb. 16, 2015.

• Having OU on the schedule twice this month provides great opportunity for a solid win – they’re on a tear right now

• This is pretty interesting – PFF put an expected value on former Cowboy Chris Carson and his next contract:

Teams may offer Carson only a glorified one-year deal to hedge against injury and age-related decline, and that looks like the wise move, according to our numbers. We see Carson as potentially creating $11.5 million of value in 2021.

• I’m certainly excited to watch these five guys play in Stillwater next fall

• Gosh it’d be huge if the Pokes could land this tackle from the Edmond area, they just made his top-five

• Fun to see where Big 12 teams are being projected in the Big Dance – Pokes as a No. 5 seed

• These odds for the Pokes to win it all remind me of this quote from The Office:

“If anyone gives you 10,000 to 1 odds on anything, you take that bet. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I will be one rich dude.” -Kevin Malone

Non-OSU Bullets

• I don’t have qualms with this all-time Super Bowl roster (maybe put Troy Aikman at QB ?)
• Secret habits of genius
• NextDoor is the new small town newspaper
