Paying the Tab
Take a guess – what do you think will be the biggest question mark in OSU’s offense next fall?
Oklahoma State is probably going to reload in a surprisingly effective fashion. They have a ton of WR talent left on the team as well as Justice Hill and plenty of QB talents that have been developing behind Mason Rudolph. The big question is OL, remember that they fired their OL coach after 2016 when he signed only one player, the butcher’s bill comes due. [Concerning Sports]
While Texas spends 40 years wandering in the quarterback wilderness, Oklahoma State is to a point where you can fee *whispers* confident in their ability to reload. We’ll see about that o-line!
Breaking Through
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg has a Cowboy wideout as one of college football’s breakout players in 2018.
Oklahoma State WR Dillon Stoner: He nearly didn’t qualify as a 2018 breakout player because he was so productive as a redshirt freshman, recording 44 receptions for 576 yards and four touchdowns.
But the NFL departures of Biletnikoff Award winner James Washington and Marcell Ateman clear the way for Stoner, Tyron Johnson and others to take on more important roles in 2018. [ESPN]
Unless Mike Yurcich is building a blueprint for a ground-raid in Stillwater, it’s not hard to figure out who the new QB will be leaning on while he breaks in the new captain’s seat.
OSU and NCAA Notes
One CBS analyst has Rudolph as his top QB, Washington in his top 20….President of CBS Sports thinks an eight-team playoff will come to pass sooner than anticipated (SI thinks it would fix this year’s problems)….No. 8 Texas rallied late to beat the Cowgirls on Wednesday night….A solid piece here detailing game two of Big 12 men’s basketball
Lindy Waters-(Klay) Thompson would have been nice in Norman.
Mike Boynton on what #OKState misses when Lindy Waters is unavailable: "Just his intellect. He’s a high IQ basketball player. He knows where to be at all times. He’s a guy who can make up mistakes for his teammates because he knows who to cover up."

I like what a non-foul troubled Sima brings on both ends.
Seems like every game you get 2 or 3 of these from Sima. So good in the post #okstate pic.twitter.com/CzBzqMmO8b

Chip Kelly bringing the gang together in Los Angeles city limits could be scary.
