OSU Bullets
• Fascinating to watch if Eric Morris maintains playcalling (he explains his logic here), guy clearly has skill in this area – thrilled to see a top-shelf playcaller on the sidelines after how terrible the offense has been the last couple of years (PFB)
• Drew Mestemaker talks about what he got out of the Manning Passing Academy (PFB)
• CBS Sports had one of the rosier outlooks on the Cowboy Football season than you’ll see around – beating Tech in Stillwater is bullish:
Oklahoma State
Projected record: 9-3, 7-2 Wins: at Tulsa, Murray State, at West Virginia, UCF, Colorado, at Iowa State, at Kansas State, Kansas, Texas Tech Losses: Oregon, at Houston, at Arizona State [CBS Sports]
• On3 has Drew Mestemaker as the third-best quarterback in the Big 12 – three spots ahead of K-State’s Avery Johnson (X)
• As much as it would have been nice to keep Wendell Gregory, this graphic tells me OSU made a decision here on edge rushers, and it’s pretty justifiable analytically:
