Three Thoughts
โข I would love to see a college sports version of this Masters tradition – Gundy faking a handoff to Thurman then throwing it to Hart Lee before a game? Talk about a way to engage the alumni CC: Chad Weiberg
โข I got irrationally excited when I saw a golfer named Tiger signed to play for OSU:
โข Does this NFL draft have the potential to be the Cowboys’ best since the Gilbert/Weeden draft of 2012?
Two Quotes
โข I could be way off on this one but Brennan Pressley sounds like (is spoken of like) the next Dillon Stoner.
โThatโs the reason that we signed him,โ OSU coach Mike Gundy said. โWe watched him do that in high school for years and have tremendous success and be a very productive football player when he had the ball in his hands. Hopefully, weโve got more of that to come over the next few years.”
[NewsOK]
โข Mike Boynton walked us through the upside of an (NCAA) appeal – the penalty is delayed during the appeal.
“If you look at all the preseason stuff and they all list us as not being eligible for postseason because they know that we are, but once we appeal that penalty is stayed, for lack of a better term. That’s a legal term for saying not in effect now. If the tournament were played today we’re eligbile. If the tournament is played before the appeal is final, then we’re eligible for the tournament. We are eligible for the NCAA Tournament pending the outcome of the appeal. If they come back and uphold the ruling before the tournament then we would not be eligible.”

One Question
โข Terrific question from Cayden McFarland on Twitter today: Who is the better College Football Coach and who has had the better career – Mike Gundy or Les Miles?

โข This NFL season has been offensively nuts

This quote slowed me down on reading:
โIn the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.โ
