OSU Bullets

Bedlam will be a night game at Boone Pickens Stadium! Primetime TV spot as well.

We’re getting into blind resume season where OSU will be compared to schools with more traditionthis one will kick things off nicely.

To summarize the debate, if the team OSU is compared to has won multiple conference championships in the last ten years, they will either be justified by:
1) a better win or a better loss, whichever finds a competitive advantage over the Pokes or
2) the eye test (based solely on conference affiliation).

Man Barry going into the Ring of Honor has stirred some thought and conversation.

Starting with the retired numbers makes since (we’re halfway there) – but Rashaun Woods would make a ton of sense too

What Mike Gundy had to say about the game against Texas Tech in his weekly media luncheon

• Embrace the reality, as of right now, OSU is the best team in the Big 12

They’re at the top of the Big 12 standings, for Pete’s sake.

The AP poll individuals are interesting at times – a WVU writer had the Pokes at No. 3 and an Arizona blogger has them No. 2 overall!

Non-OSU Bullets

• Men, know yourselves (faith-based)
• Four minutes on finding an “anti-mentor”

Chewing on this today:

Things that reduce the odds of long-term success:

A lack of focus.
Making excuses.
Staying up late.
Eating poorly.
Checking email first thing in the AM.
Working more to fix being busy.
Buying things you don’t have the money for.
Focusing on yourself.
Letting other people define success for you.
The wrong relationships.
A lack of patience.
