College Football
• With the Cowboys on a bye week, college football still provided entertainment Saturday. Oklahoma edged Texas in the Red River Rivalry/Showdown/Shootout. It was ugly football for the most part, but it made for an exciting finish.
• Two Top 10 teams fell Saturday (No. 4 Florida and No. 7 Miami), so the unbeaten Pokes should scootch up the polls despite not playing.
OSU Bullets
• Damon West, a former UNT quarterback turned best-selling author/motivational speaker, had some speaking engagements at OSU this past week, and he stopped in on one of Mike Gundy’s practices to prove he still has it.
• Josh Sills has fit in perfectly in Stillwater in a year where nothing seems to be perfect.
Non-OSU Bullets
• Attitudes are skills worthy of developing.
• LeBron has a chance to wrap up No. 4 tonight. Here is a fun story of him reminding an opponent of his own play.
