College Football
โข With the Cowboys on a bye week, college football still provided entertainment Saturday. Oklahoma edged Texas in the Red River Rivalry/Showdown/Shootout. It was ugly football for the most part, but it made for an exciting finish.
โข Two Top 10 teams fell Saturday (No. 4 Florida and No. 7 Miami), so the unbeaten Pokes should scootch up the polls despite not playing.
OSU Bullets
โข Damon West, a former UNT quarterback turned best-selling author/motivational speaker, had some speaking engagements at OSU this past week, and he stopped in on one of Mike Gundy’s practices to prove he still has it.
โข Josh Sills has fit in perfectly in Stillwater in a year where nothing seems to be perfect.
Non-OSU Bullets
โข Attitudes are skills worthy of developing.
โข LeBron has a chance to wrap up No. 4 tonight. Here is a fun story of him reminding an opponent of his own play.
