The Cowboys have made a move to potentially swipe an offensive line recruit from a Big 12 foe.
TCU commit Gabriel Brooks on Wednesday announced he had been offered by Oklahoma State. Listed at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds, Brooks had just committed to the Horned Frogs in September, flipping his commitment from Stephen. F. Austin to do so.
Excited to say that I have received another division 1 offer from @CowboyFB @__CoachMorris @Coach_Crill @DemarcusHarri01 @CoachKPark @CoachRLC550 @blessed2_coach @CoachCalhoun46 https://t.co/6WiWur7dKu

Brooks plays at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth.
The 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class pins Brooks as the No. 992 overall player in the class, which makes him a Top 80 offensive tackle and a Top 130 player from the state of Texas. He plays at right tackle for his high school squad.
The Cowboys have a trio of offensive linemen committed in their 2027 class: Sonny Mullen (Troy, Texas), Jake Baker (Nashville) and Odaefe Oruru (Jenks).
The class has a low ranking in the various team standings, mostly because the Cowboys have just a dozen commitments. There are six Big 12 teams with at least 20 pledges, for reference.
