OSU Bullets
• Cowboy Basketball’s 2023-24 Basketball schedule was released yesterday – murderer’s row happens in late January/early February (PFB)
• Cowboy safety Trey Rucker was arrested over the weekend, DUI-related (PFB)
• Cards on the table, I lean towards Alan Bowman as the answer. Here’s why: depth of target.
Senior quarterback Alan Bowman has pushed the ball deeper down the field in each game. Bowman’s average depth of target started at 6.1 yards in OSU’s opener against Central Arkansas and has slowly increased.
He finished 23-of-48 for 279 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Saturday’s 11.8 average depth of target was the deepest of any OSU quarterback this season.

• This won’t surprise you but the Cowboys’ blocking isn’t good according to PFF:
Still, OSU’s pass protection could use some work. According to Pro Football Focus, OSU’s pass blocking ranks 96th in Division I football, sandwiched between Michigan State (2-2) and Louisiana Tech (2-3).
On the other side, run blocking ranks 95th in the country.
