Three Thoughts
• Fun news for Cowboy Basketball yesterday – Pokes landed a commitment from a sharpshooting guard. Coach Steve Lutz has at least some interest in building with freshman recruits (PFB) • All the essentials for today’s game: previewing the game with TV info + TV crew and betting lines + picks and predictions (PFB) • Arkansas-OSU on ABC is compelling football – OSU’s dynamic skill players with Ollie Gordon, and a veteran passing attack against the dynamic skill talent and beefy lines of Arkansas. It’s not Georgia in the last 2000s but there’s higher potential that you personally know an Arkansas fan.OSU is as tough and physical as ever but gave up a few explosive plays in Week 1, and Arkansas QB Taylen Green and RB Ja’Quinden Jackson averaged 13.5 yards per carry last week. This should be a fun noon complement to Michigan-Texas. [ESPN $$$]
Two Quotes
• Shots fired (back) as Mike Gundy called the NCAA out for the unreasonable stance on QR codes on helmets:• Here’s where Leslie O’Neal is headed in the Ring of Honor:“Basically if you can’t walk and chew gum at the same time, then it’s tough to lead, and that’s what you’re getting right now from the NCAA.”@CoachGundy had some harsh words for the NCAA after the QR code initiative was shut down.@ChildersRadio @CoachNeuheisel pic.twitter.com/4kyg1ATkPi

One Question
• Arkansas is a fun regional opponent but they were picked to finish third from last in the SEC – who’s the ideal, the toughest (but not Alabama) SEC team you’d like to see the Pokes play?Non-OSU Bullets
• Fun look at the population – you can enter your age and see who’s older/younger than you • It takes years to grow (faith-based)I’ve found this analogy to be helpful when thinking about making decisions: pic.twitter.com/QO12uvhqVp
